A lot has happened for the Bucks in a few short days. The Bucks beat Charlotte and held on in Memphis before losing to the Spurs Monday night 112-98.
Bogut is Out
Bogut is out for what will sound like three weeks total, and not the four that was possible reported. Gery Woelfel stated the three week time frame this morning on the Doug and Mike show. Hopefully he will be back even sooner as he was really establishing himself as an All Star center in the East.
Redd is Back
Redd is back. How a shooter as good as Redd can go 1-6 from the line is beyond me. I hope for Redd’s and the Bucks sake that he is able to add something to the team. Redd is a good guy so he is the type of pro athlete we should root for, but at the same time it is hard to argue against the fact that he may be the most overpaid player in the NBA. The Bucks ceiling can go higher if Redd can fit in and at the very least be a three-point specialist, which is all he really was in the first place. Hopefully this works out and Redd does not make the team worse with him on the floor.
Jennings has Off Night
These will happen, nights where the ball does not drop. I hope it has more to do with the Spurs defense combined with a rookie on his first road trip and less to do with Redd being back. Stay tuned to Wednesday night, if Jennings has another off game, rumblings will grow around the team being better off w/o Redd. Just having Redd on the floor can force Jennings to become a little tentative to take over and the Bucks cannot afford to have Jennings anything other than aggressive.
The picks have been quiet for a week.
