Bucks Fans Should Cheer For Boston Tonight

A huge game tonight for the Cavs, Celtics, any team with cap room to go after Lebron(Knicks) and every other team in the East.  As a Bucks fan I do not want Lebron to stay in Cleveland.  If he leaves Cleveland that franchise would be dead and for the Bucks that would be one less team to worry about in the East.

Knicks

Everybody talks about Lebron to the Knicks and has for a few years.  The Knicks have done a good job of clearing money to make a run at Lebron, and other big money free agents.

Look, the Knicks are getting something this summer.  Whether it is Lebron or Joe Johnson and Carlos Boozer, the Knicks will get better.  If they swing either deal I think they could vault into the top four or five in the East instantly, ahead of Milwaukee.  No matter what, the Knicks are getting better this summer.

If Lebron stays in Cleveland the Cavs can be penciled in for at least 60 wins for the foreseeable future.  If the Knicks make a couple big moves they will also a safe bet to be in the top half of the Eastern Conference playoffs for years.  For me, Lebron moving out of Cleveland is a numbers game, if he leaves that is one less team ahead of our Bucks.

I really feel every fan of every team in the East should be pulling for Boston tonight.  For the teams that have a shot at Lebron this summer the reason is obvious, they could get Lebron.  For the other teams it means one team will definitely be weakened(Cavs), and may never recover.

A lot of this depends on a couple of things happening which I think will, no matter what happens with Lebron, Chicago and New York are getting something this summer.  Both places are good destinations and both have money.  We need somebody to get weaker and Cleveland gets the short end of the stick.

Milwaukee! You are kidding me right! The team that made the silly and stupid one-sided Alcindor trade?

Haven’t you figured out the NBA yet. It is fixed. The lakers who have the accused on their team, always have to be good and they have a commissioner who will make sure of that. It started with Chamberlain, then Alcindor. Then they lose to get Ervin Johnson when they had all-stars at every position. Then the following year, they get Worthy……………..hmmm. Then came the palming the ball rule change for Johnson along with all those steps. Put LBJ on Johnson’s team and they would never lose. Why the hype over having five number one(1) picks starting and with two(2) number one(10 picks off the bench. Then the accused says, “I play for nobody but the lickers”. That great commissioner told him to say that. Then they get Gasol for nobody. The NBA logo is after West. Ervin Johnson does NBA telecasts while you see no other owner on television………..like sarah palin Johnson…….go away…..nobody outside of la cienega and the 10 freeway care about what you have to say.
FIXED! FIXED! FIXED! FIXED! FIXED! FIXED!

Hopefully the Bucks will not make another blunder like the Alcindor trade. Big Lew forced their hand back then and wanted out. Not sure how it would have played out if the Bucks played hard ball with him.

What do ANY of these comments have to do with the blog above? And what are you still talking about the Alcindor trade for? There is not one thing about the current team that has anything to do with back then.

No idea, but threw my two cents on the Alcinder comment.

By the way, I am with you all the way about hoping LBJ will leave Cleveland, unless of course he lands in Chicago….

I am not sure how Lebron and Rose would work together but it would still be two great players together which would be tough enough. It will be interesting if the Lebron sweepstakes turns into who can offer more in a sign and trade, although that would really be up to Lebron I could see him guaranteeing Cleveland does not get completely shafted. If Chicago had to give up Deng and some other pieces how much better off would Chicago be with Lebron than Cleveland was?
