Bucks Busy With Trades

The Milwaukee Bucks have been busy in the last 24 hours acquiring two players I have always liked, Chris Douglas-Roberts and Corey Maggette.

The Bucks acquired Chris Douglas-Roberts for a 2012 2nd round pick.  I have always liked CDR, I thought he always had good length and could score in a variety of ways.  Add him to the mix at small forward without giving up much.  I feel CDR is much better than most 2nd round prospects and his production is closer to a mid to late first.

Good Move.

Corey Maggette

On Tuesday, the Bucks traded guard Charlie Bell and center Dan Gadzuric to the Golden State Warriors for small forward Corey Maggette.  Maggette is a player I have also always liked going back to his days at Duke.  This will be another player to add to the shooting guard/small forward mix.

Good Move

These moves signal a couple of things to me.

1.  John Salmons is likely to not come back.

2.  More moves should come during draft.  The Bucks still have four picks Thursday, I would not be surprised to see more trades involving picks or players.
