We have some Milwaukee Bucks news this morning and some more Lebron non-news.
It is all over ESPN that Lebron’s decision should come Thursday. If it does, THANK GOD! This saga has been going on for several years, ever since the Knicks started adding crappy contracts that would expire for this free agent period. If I remember correctly this all really started with Isiah in New York, the rumors have been flying around that long.
I would prefer Lebron to leave Cleveland for New York or New Jersey and for Dwayne Wade to stay in Miami. What I do not want is Lebron James staying in Cleveland AND Wade going to Chicago. Chris Bosh would likely go to one of those teams and there would be two of the best teams in the league in the same division as the Bucks. That would not be fun.
It looks like Luke Ridnour will not be back with the Bucks. When the Bucks signed John Salmons after Drew Gooden one had to wonder if the Bucks had any room left for Ridnour.
The team most rumored is the Knicks, but they are rumored to be interested in everyone so only time will tell. ESPN does mention Travis Diener as a possible replacement which should make all Marquette fans happy.
The Corey Maggette trade for Dan Gadzuric and Charlie Bell has been finalized after Maggette passed his physical.
The Journal Sentinelreports an arthroscopic procedure was performed recently on Maggette’s right ankle to remove some bone chips, but the Bucks aren’t too concerned.
This could have been a real problem if he did not pass so this is good news. All of us Bucks fans who were happy to see Gadzuric finally go would have been very disappointed if the trade would have been nullified.
