Larry Sanders 6th In ESPN Redraft

Larry Sanders went sixth to Golden State in David Thorpe’s redraft on ESPN Insider.  With the Bucks season getting closer and closer to going straight to the shitter at least we have Sanders to watch, when he gets to play.  I feel that if losses continue to pile up that Scott Skiles needs to get Sanders as many minutes as possible.

In fact, if the Bucks cannot make a strong push towards a .500 record by January, I would go all young, all the time.  Give Jennings, CDR and Sanders as many minutes as possible.  Lets at least see what we have with the young guys because right now our old guys suck.

Here is what Thorpe had to say about Sanders:

An athletic big man has been a need in Golden State for a while, and Sanders would have fit the bill beautifully. He especially would have been an upgrade on defense, as scoring is a luxury that this team does not necessarily need.

His eight blocked shots in Denver gave us a glimpse of the paint presence he can be. And he could have developed nicely next to David Lee
