Will the Bucks benefit from the Tuesday night cancellation in Atlanta? It was expected that both San Antonio and Milwaukee would enter tonight’s game coming off a game the previous night. The Spurs beat Minnesota last night 107-96 while the Bucks have now been off since their blowout of New Jersey on Saturday. At worst the Bucks should be very fresh.
The Spurs have the best record in the NBA at 32-6, but Milwaukee played them very tough in San Antonio on December 15th, losing on a buzzer-beater by Manu Ginobli. If you remember that play it should be a poster child of how to travel but, of course, it was not called. Ginobli hit the shot, the Spurs got the win. Maybe the cancellation is exactly what the Bucks needed to get a win against a top contender tonight.
Tonight the Spurs are favored by 3.5.
