Links: Milwaukee Bucks Get #10 Draft Pick

  • Frank Madden over at BrewHoop takes a look at the lottery results, along with a glance at some early mock drafts.  Milwaukee had about an 87% chance of receiving the tenth pick and that’s exactly what they got in the draft.  Cleveland, sitting in the ninth spot of the lottery just ahead of the Bucks, received the number one draft selection.
  • Charles F. Gardner of the Journal Sentinel examines the past eight Buck drafts and their uneven results from ‘Andrew’ to ‘Yi’.  If reading the name ‘Joe Alexander’ causes you anxiety, then you probably don’t want to read this one.
  • Herb Kohl has announced that he is not running for re-election to the U.S. Senate.  Once he is not faced with the conflict of interest of being a public official, can the Bucks look to build a public-private partnership to replace the Bradley Center?
  • Bucksketball remembers Robert “Tractor” Traylor, who passed away at age 34 last week.
  • Brandon Jennings just finished an NBA promotional tour through India.  Here’s a look at Jennings and the NBA from the other side of the world. (Photo credit: Ashish Raje)  He also got the chance to play some cricket!  Jennings himself was a #10 draft pick from two years ago.  The Bucks would do well to find a player of his caliber this year — albeit, in a much weaker draft class.
