Brandon Jennings Scores 51 Points in a Goodman League Game (VIDEO)

The MarsReel.com posted video yesterday (see below) from this past weekend’s Goodman league game that featured Brandon Jennings scoring 51 points. Brandon scores in all manner of ways, but what may be most impressive is the confidence he seems to have in that J.

According to Jennings’ twitter account, he scored 51 points in this game early Saturday, then went across DC to Georgetown for a game later that afternoon in the Kenner league. The next day, he was back on the opposite coast pouring in 81 points in a charity game in Long Beach, CA. (The point total is more impressive when you consider the level of talent — Trevor Ariza, Dorrell Wright, Jordan Hamilton and Pooh Jeter — and that the game consisted of 10-minute quarters!) 150+ points on two coasts in one weekend sounds to me like the textbook definition of “doin’ work”.

Here’s more from The MarsReel.com from the same game. Clearly, Jennings should have won an ESPY last night for “Best Acting in a Summer League Rec Game”. This move is actually fantastically funny, but I’m not clear on what the ref thought he saw — even the howling fans sniffed it out from a mile away.
