The NBA announced its reserve players for the 2012 All-Star Game. Brandon Jennings, who many thought would have a fair shot at making the team, was not selected. The seven players chosen were:
Chris Bosh
Luol Deng
Roy Hibbert
Andre Iguodala
Joe Johnson
Paul Pierce
Deron Williams
In his third season, Jennings is averaging 18.9 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per game — numbers which show a marked performance over his rookie and sophomore campaigns. However, Jennings overall play has dipped since a breakout game against the Heat a week ago.
The Bucks have not had a player on the Eastern Conference team since Michael Redd represented them in 2004.
The All-Star Game will be held February 26th in Orlando.
