Brandon Jennings Has a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles Tattoo

Brandon Jennings got some new ink as a tribute to his son… and the internet lit up over chicken and waffles.

The new tattoo features his son’s name in a vivid red script.  As he told GlobalGrind.com last year prior to the 2011 NBA Draft, he planned to get one final ink job as a tribute to his son, Legend.

I know you have a lot of tattoos. Have you added any to the body canvas lately? Nah. Probably my last tattoo that I’m going to get is my son’s name. I’m just waiting to figure out what I’m going to get and where to put it.

Why is it going to be your last one? I’m running out of ink space and I think he’s going to be the last.

Not surprisingly, internet looky-loos overlooked his son’s name and were instead drawn to the cartoon chicken-and-waffles logo of Roscoe’s – a favorite restaurant from his California home to which he has now paid homage in ink, basketball shoe, and TV commercial form.

But as the pic above shows, Brandon has had the waffle logo on his arm for quite a while, it’s just that, well, that no one noticed.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to go now.  I’m getting hungry for some breakfast.  And lunch.
