Report: Ersan Close to 5-Year/$45 Million Deal

According to a report by Jorge Sierra of HoopsHype, Ersan Ilyasova is close to signing a 5-year/$45 million deal to stay with the Bucks.

Free agent forward Ersan Ilyasova is close to an agreement on a five-year, $45 million contract to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, agent Tolga Tugsavul tells HoopsHype. The deal is almost finalized and will likely be signed this coming week, Tugsavul said.

Additionally, Turkish writer Can Pelister of SoloBasket tweeted that CSKA Moscow was the European team interested in Ilyasova, but that Ersan was reportedly not interested in playing in Europe.

Last night, Gery Woefel reported that Ilyasova would be meeting with Bucks owner Herb Kohl this week, probably on Tuesday.  If all these reports hold true, that meeting could be the time at which Ilyasova is presented with the details of Milwaukee’s offer.
