after Media Day a day earlier.  They then travel to Canton, Ohio on October 9th to face the Cavaliers in their preseason opener.

Journal Sentinel: Don Walker takes a look how the BMO Harris Bradley Center got a $5 million grant from the state of Wisconsin for upkeep and maintenance — despite an earlier statement from Gov. Walker that the BMOHBC should be able to raise money for itself.

CBSRadio/Washington:  In a radio interview tied to a promotional tour for his recent book, Dwyane Wade reflected on his time at Marquette and the opportunities he had to play against George Karl’s

Host: Did you figure it out when you were at Marquette playing summer (ball) with pros and stuff?  When did it dawn on you that, ‘Wait a sec. I’m way bigger than Marquette”?

Wade: I never thought I was bigger than Marquette, but I did believe than I could play with the pros. I think that one thing that was great about being in Milwaukee was that we got a chance to play with the Bucks a lot, and my teammate now, Ray Allen, I got to play against Ray Allen a lot.  You know, all those guys, Big Dog (Robinson), and all those guys that came through the Bucks over the years.  And I would say that, ‘You know what? Bucksketball:  Ian Segovia on Larry Sanders.  I could totally get behind a Pacers/Bucks rivalry, especially if it means were somewhere near their win-loss record this year.

China Daily: Former Buck Yi Jianlian is returning to China to play for Guangdong.

Youtube:  Brandon Jennings, who turned 23 this past weekend, talks style, with his tongue planted firmly in its cheek, “I’m a half-model, but I just chose basketball because the money is better.”

It also seems that Jennings switched his Twitter account to @justryod3.
