Larry Sanders Finishes 3rd in Most Improved Award Vote

Larry Sanders finished 3rd in the voting for the NBA’s Most Improved Player Award, trailing winner Paul George of the Pacers and runner-up Greivis Vasquez of the Pelicans/Hornets.

Sanders finished with 141 overall points, including 10 of the 75 first-place votes.  George garnered 52 first-place votes and 311 points, while Vasquez collected 13 first-place votes and 146 points.

Jrue Holiday of the 76ers and Omer Asik of the Rockets ranked fourth and fifth in the voting results.
