Ersan Ilyasova has missed the last six games with an ankle injury.
Both Ersan Ilyasova and Caron Butler practiced in full Tuesday and are listed as probable for Wednesday’s game against the Blazers.
Ilyasova, who is dealing with an ankle injury and has played just three games, will be a welcomed return for a Milwaukee team in desperate need of frontcourt scoring.
After suffering a shoulder injury a week ago against Orlando, Butler has recovered perhaps more quickly than expected, and both he and Ersan could be reinserted into the starting lineup.
While the Bucks got Luke Ridnour back over the weekend, Brandon Knight continued to sit out Tuesday with a hamstring injury and chances are he won’t take the court against Portland. That likely means Nate Wolters will continue to start, but Ridnour should see plenty of time as the backup after averaging just more than 20 minutes per game in his first two contests of the season.
Also of note: It’s the first of four Wednesday free t-shirt nights at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, and the Bucks are showing no mercy in their promotional efforts, tweeting about it EIGHT times in the past 24 hours. But hey, they’re pretty cool shirts (way better than your average freebie) so I shouldn’t be complaining.
