WISN 12 has released a surveillance video of Larry Sanders‘ altercation in a nightclub fight on November 3rd. According to WISN, Sanders has been charged with two separate citations for disorderly conduct and assault and batter.
Lt. Mark Stanmeyer said that citations of disorderly conduct and assault and batter were issued to Larry Sanders in the Nov. 3 incident.
Officers were called to club after a fight broke out inside the club. According to reports, Sanders was upset about being sprayed with champagne, and got into an altercation with several other people at the club.
The video shows Sanders (wearing all white— hard to miss) pushing and shoving, as well as exchanging blows with two men. Sanders also throws bottles and glasses across the bar area before finally being corralled and held back by multiple people.
The GIF below describes perfectly what happens to Larry the rest of the video.
Sanders, fresh off a 4-year/$44 million extension over the summer, suffered a thumb injury from the altercation. The injury required surgery that was expected to sideline him for six weeks. Barring any suspension or punishment from the league or organization, Sanders is expected to return to game action for the Bucks in mid to late-December.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Sanders blow up this way. In 2012 he was suspended two games for losing his mind and nearly starting a bench-clearing brawl in a game against the Indiana Pacers. Last season, Sanders accumulated 14 technical fouls and a league-high five ejections.
It’s quite obvious Larry has some severe anger issues and a lack of maturity. He’ll certainly lose a lot of love from Bucks fans and the organization as a result of this incident. Whether or not the league will punish Sanders is yet to be seen.
Here’s the video of Larry’s temper tantrum against the Pacers in 2012, which looks strikingly similar to his conduct in the bar fight.
