The Bucks hope to have Henson back this weekend.

As reported by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, John Henson participated in Wednesday’s practice, but did so in limited fashion. Henson was held out of contact drills.

After missing the last five games, Henson remains on track to return this weekend against either Chicago on Friday or Oklahoma City on Saturday. The second-year forward is averaging 12.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game this season, while posting a team-high 20.43 PER.

The Journal Sentinel also noted that, though he was a full participant, Ersan Ilyasova practiced with a taped right hand. He’s apparently dealing with soreness in the hand, but it’s unknown exactly what caused it. Regardless, it’s encouraging to see him on the practice court less than 24 hours after playing 31 minutes in Tuesday night’s game against the Warriors. Ilyasova scored 20 points and had six rebounds and two steals in the loss – his first 20-point outing since Dec. 7.
