If there is one thing Larry Drew has proven this season it’s that he’s not afraid to shuffle the starting lineup.
As the Bucks prepare to face the Magic on Friday night, Drew will again shake things up, starting Nate Wolters at shooting guard in place of Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo had started the last 21 games at either shooting guard or small forward. Wolters will be joined in the starting five by Larry Sanders, Ersan Ilyaosva, Khris Middleton and Brandon Knight.
Sanders came off the bench Wednesday against Phoenix to put up 14 points, nine rebounds and two blocks in 33 minutes. John Henson, Wednesday’s starter, is out Friday with a sprained wrist. It’s unknown how much time Henson will miss, but Sanders will almost certainly step in as the interim starter, if there even is such a thing these days in Milwaukee, where Drew seems to play lineup roulette on a nightly basis. Friday’s starting five will be the Bucks’ 20th different lineup this season.
