As Fox Sports North reported Tuesday morning, the Bucks will hit the road for a neutral site preseason matchup against the Timberwolves in October. The game will take place on Oct. 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar Rapids.
Minnesota has a history of playing exhibitions in the neighboring state, having made three appearances in Iowa since 2002.
The Bucks typically do some preseason traveling of their own, highlighted by an annual game at the Resch Center in Green Bay. Last season, the Bucks squared off against the Timberwolves at The Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD – less than an hour’s drive from South Dakota State University, the alma mater of then-rookie guard Nate Wolters.
In 2012, Milwaukee faced Cleveland in Canton, OH, Memphis in La Crosse, WI and the Timberwolves in Green Bay.
