As the Milwaukee Bucks lost a matinee game for the second straight day, what were the key takeaways from Monday’s clash with the Philadelphia 76ers?

After a disappointing Sunday loss in Atlanta, the Milwaukee Bucks returned home for a no less disappointing loss on Martin Luther King Day at the Bradley Center.

Playing the second game of an uncharacteristically early starting back-to-back, the Bucks were faced with the challenge of a more confident Philadelphia 76ers team than has existed for many years.

The Sixers entered Milwaukee looking for their sixth win in eight games, and riding the wave of euphoria that has accompanied Joel Embiid‘s final All-Star push.

Embiid’s performance proved why he’s worthy of such consideration, while for the Bucks foul trouble highlighted just how central Giannis Antetokounmpo is to his team’s success too.

In the end with no answers to Embiid, and a lackluster effort at defending the three-point line, the Sixers managed to cruise past the Bucks for a relatively comfortable win.

As the Bucks move on from this game, what were the key takeaways, though?
