The Milwaukee Bucks are rolling at the moment, and the Philadelphia 76ers without Joel Embiid are their next opponent on Monday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks are making some noise in the Eastern Conference after back-to-back (literally) wins over the Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors over the weekend. Both of those games were at home, but beating two legitimate contenders says a lot about Milwaukee’s ceiling.

The team’s 28-33 record says a lot about Milwaukee’s inconsistency this season. Injury problems haven’t helped, but every team has those. Overcoming injuries and playing at a consistently high level is the key to turning bad teams into good teams, and good teams into great ones.

The Bucks are still bad, but their flashes of great play are encouraging. If Milwaukee can string together some more good performances and actually steal that eighth seed away from the Detroit Pistons it could provide some valuable learning experiences for the young Bucks.

That’s going to be an uphill climb, but luckily the first portion of Milwaukee’s remaining schedule is pretty easy. The Philadelphia 76ers are next up on the Bucks schedule, and they’re a lot easier to handle without Joel Embiid.

To see how either Philly or Milly could win, we’ll go through major keys for both clubs, followed by checking out a 76er to watch and making some score predictions about the game.
