The Milwaukee Bucks completed their season sweep of the Clippers with a win that moved them up to seventh in the standings, but what were the takeaways on the night?

It all could have been very different if Blake Griffin had gotten his shot to fall at the buzzer, but in a game where the Milwaukee Bucks looked confident and even controlled throughout, it felt like justice was served when it didn’t.

Not just one of the best teams in the West, but also in the wider NBA, the Bucks completed their season sweep over the Los Angeles Clippers and sent out a message that this is a different team to the one that seemed destined for the lottery only a month ago.

Milwaukee has gone 11-4 over their last 15 games, a mark which hasn’t been matched or bettered by any other Eastern Conference team.

The reward for that is the Bucks have now moved up to a lofty standing in seventh spot, with Indiana in sixth not out of reach either.

For the moment, the Bucks will have to just take each game as it comes and focus on what’s behind them until that’s no longer a concern, but of those in the mix for lower seeds in the East, there’s currently no team looking as dangerous as Milwaukee.

For as much as that can be attributed to Giannis Antetkounmpo, and Khris Middleton‘s return, the way in which they’re getting big contributions from multiple players shouldn’t be overlooked. That was again the case in this game against the Clippers, as Milwaukee wasn’t left to rely on a single player to carry the load on either end.

Moving on from this game with a big win, what are the key takeaways for the Bucks? Let’s take a closer look.
