The Milwaukee Bucks will get a chance to measure up against the Eastern Conference’s top team on Wednesday night.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a tough game ahead of them on Wednesday night, when the Bucks head into enemy territory to take on the best team in the Eastern Conference according to record.

No, Milwaukee isn’t playing in Cleveland. The Boston Celtics recently snatched first place from the Cavaliers, and they will get a chance to defend that top spot against the Bucks. With the Celtics holding just a half-game lead on the Cavs, they’ll have to beat Milwaukee to hold the uncontested top spot.

The Bucks, meanwhile, are in a seeding battle of their own. Milwaukee is still holding the sixth spot while the Bucks are tied in record with the Atlanta Hawks, but the Indiana Pacers blowing a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves gave the Bucks some breathing room there at least.

More from Bucks News

Milwaukee actually has two remaining games against Boston, as the Celtics are their last opponent of the 2016-17 regular season on April 12. That game is also in Boston. Milwaukee would need to sweep the Celtics in the TD Garden to own the tiebreaker over them, because the Bucks lost their first match-up with this team.

That tiebreaker wouldn’t matter, as there’s no way these teams end up with the same record, but winning at least one of those contests against Boston would be nice for the Bucks playoff chances.

To see how either club could pull out a win on Wednesday, we’ll go through major keys for both of them, followed by a Celtic to watch and some score predictions for the contest.
