The Milwaukee Bucks need a win to avoid starting up a losing streak that could kill their playoff momentum with just over a week left in the regular season.

The Milwaukee Bucks had such a great month of March. The Bucks were so damn good that two individuals got awarded for their months–Jason Kidd took home Coach of the Month honors, and Giannis Antetokounmpo was the Eastern Conference Player of the Month.

Thus far, April just hasn’t been the same for the Bucks. Milwaukee has yet to win a game this month, losing both to the Dallas Mavericks at home and to the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road. The Bucks road trip continues against the Indiana Pacers on Thursday night.

More from Bucks News

The Pacers are in a three-way tie in record with the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat, and one of those teams is going to find themselves on the outside looking in once postseason play begins. Indiana will thus be playing a little harder than usual to make sure the playoffs don’t start without the Pacers.

The Bucks, on the other hand, are somehow still holding onto that fifth seed despite their small two-game losing streak. A win over Indiana might really shore up that position, as the sixth-place Atlanta Hawks have to play the Boston Celtics on Thursday.

To see how either playoffs-hungry team could prevail on Thursday evening, we’ll look at a major key for both the Bucks and the Pacers to win, followed by an Indiana player to watch and some final score predictions.
