It’s now win or stay home for the Milwaukee Bucks with a decisive Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors coming in Milwaukee.

The Milwaukee Bucks now, officially, have their backs against the wall. With their losses in Games 4 and 5, the Bucks allowed the Toronto Raptors to go from being down 2-1 to being up 3-2, with just one win separating Toronto from meeting the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round.

Luckily for the Bucks, the Raps have a bit of a recent history that suggests they might struggle to win this road game to seal up the series.

Milwaukee will need to play much better than the team did in Game 5 to have a chance to continue that streak of bad luck in road Game 6’s for Toronto. The Raptors might get caught up in their own heads, but besides that the past really doesn’t matter anymore.

Analysts love to talk about momentum and what teams have done in the past, but the truth is every NBA team is fluid. The Golden State Warriors went from losing to the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round and winning 51 games to winning the NBA Finals and winning 67 games in just one year.

Like every professional sports league, the pertinent question in the NBA is “What have you done for me lately?” The Bucks fell short in their last two games, but two wins in a row means they go on to the next round, even though they might’ve seemed done after Game 5.

To see how either the Bucks or the Raptors could come out on top on Thursday night we’ll look at major keys for both team, followed by a Raptor to watch and some predictions on the game’s final score.
