There won’t be any Bucks in the All-Star Game. Again.

The NBA announced the reserves for the All-Star Game. Counted among the East reserves were guards Kyrie Irving and Jrue Holiday. By also picking Chris Bosh, Tyson Chandler, Luol Deng, Paul George and Joakim Noah, the NBA essentially picked two forwards for the “positionless” reserves (though George plays some at the 2-guard spot).

Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade are the starters at guard for the East.

Per NBA guidelines:

The 14 (reserve) players selected were chosen by the 30 NBA head coaches, who were asked to vote for seven players in their respective conferences — two guards, three frontcourt players and two players regardless of position. They were not permitted to vote for players from their own team.

Not picked? Brandon Jennings, who clearly wanted it badly — if his recent quotes and tweets are any indication. Jennings will face Irving tomorrow night in Cleveland, and honestly, who knows what to expect out of Jennings for that game? He is so emotional — will it translate into the hyperfocused performances that he’s put up against Holiday in two matches this year? Or will he slide into his annual February swoon that oh-not-so-coincidentally falls in line with the All-Star Game each year?

Literally, anything is possible. Well, anything is possible except for an average, solid game. He’s either going to be spectacular or horrific against Cleveland, right?

On a side note, Jennings tweeted THIS, so he should look spectacular against Cleveland, or perhaps Golden State some time this weekend.

— BRANDON JENNINGS (@justryod3) January 21, 2013

Jennings also tweeted support of his fellow Californians — Chandler, George, and Holiday — after the announcements were made.
