Milwaukee Bucks Grades & Reactions From 109-108 Win Over the Philadelphia 76ers
Reactions: The Bad
- If the 76ers were a good enough shooting team to warrant the 46 three-pointers they took, the Bucks would have been in serious trouble. Thankfully the 76ers bricked away open attempts left and right, failing to crush the Bucks defense in ways that teams with more than 10 wins often do. The 76ers made just 13-46 from three.
- Please don’t, Jabari. I feel like a worried mother every time one of these freak plays happens to one of our prized players. (He was just fine after the spill.)
- I touched on this in the intro blurb, and will likely touch on it again a little later–but I see no reason to play Giannis 40 minutes and Middleton 43 minutes (albeit in overtime) of a game that has no bearing on this season, and aside from lottery standings, is pointless. John Hammond mentioned in the pregame show that he’s a little worried about putting miles on Giannis’ body so the 37.6 minutes he’s averaging in April feels like a bit much.
