Milwaukee Bucks: Free Agent Locker Room Veteran Targets
By Adam McGee
Leandro Barbosa
The Brazilian Blur may not be quite as speedy as he once was, but you don’t have to spend too long looking at his contribution in Golden State in the past two seasons to realize he’s still got plenty left to offer.
Barbosa is still quicker than your average guard, has great size and the experience of playing at either position in the backcourt.
Barbosa has fine-tuned his game as time has gone on to suit the team he played on, the shift in style around the NBA, and his changing body. That’s not to mention that he’s learned from playing alongside masterful point guards like Steve Nash and Stephen Curry in their prime.
As a career 38.8 percent three-point shooter, with ball-handling capabilities, aggressive defense and still impressive speed, Barbosa would be a good option. The fact that the 33-year-old has now been a key bench piece on one of the greatest teams in history is an added bonus.
