After struggling a little in his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks, can Matthew Dellavedova bounce back in the 2017-18 season?

Matthew Dellavedova is not alone among players desperately in need of an improved season with the Milwaukee Bucks this year.

Having landed in Milwaukee via a sign and trade that will see him earn $38 million over the space of four years, expectations were high for the impact Dellavedova could have as a system fit on an up-and-coming Bucks team.

As his first year with the team progressed, he was simply outperformed by teammates in areas where he was expected to excel, though.

En route to an award winning season, rookie Malcolm Brogdon offered everything that was expected of Dellavedova as a fit with the Bucks best players, and more.

Going a step further, Dellavedova’s leadership may not have been quite as important as initially anticipated, as Jason Terry chipped in with his vast experience, while also surprising with his ability to play effective backcourt minutes that could otherwise have been filled by the Australian newcomer.

The overall result was that Dellavedova struggled across the board when compared to his previous high marks. Now entering the new season with plenty to prove, can he turn things around and deliver?
