The Milwaukee Bucks’ winning streak rose to 11 games Saturday night as they rolled past the Charlotte Hornets for their most overwhelming victory of the season to date.

No victory in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2019-20 season has come easier to them than Saturday night as they collected their 11th straight win by pasting the Charlotte Hornets 137-96 at Fiserv Forum.

Both the Bucks and the Hornets got off to sluggish starts, but it was Milwaukee that was able to shrug off their early rust first. Charlotte was able to get their offense going a bit in the latter stages of the first quarter, but the Bucks held on to a 32-25 edge at the end of one.

Charlotte kept up their pace early on in the second period and came within 3 of the Bucks at around the eight-minute mark.

But the Bucks got right back to work to regain their double-digit lead and led the Hornets 66-49 going into the halftime break.

Milwaukee didn’t let up on the metaphorical gas pedal to start the second half as they continued to blow open the game in their favor and call an early night for some of their more notable contributors such as superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Possessing a 101-75 advantage going into the final frame, the Bucks leaned on their seldom used players to put on the finishing touches for the night and once led by as much as 44 in the final moments before the buzzer sounded.

So without further ado, let’s break down what stood out in the Bucks’ win over the Charlotte Hornets from Saturday night, starting with looking at how veteran center Robin Lopez performed in his spot start.
