Milwaukee Bucks: 3 replacements for Wesley Matthews in free agency – Avery Bradley

Another player who spent the 2019-20 season with the Lakers, Avery Bradley checks off the boxes similarly to Caldwell-Pope. For many of those same reasons, the Bucks should go after the 29-year-old guard.

Bradley primarily started in the Lakers’ shooting guard slot last season and put together a solid showing. In 24.2 minutes per game this season, Bradley averaged 8.6 points on .444/.364/.833 shooting splits, 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.9 steals. The guard played in just 49 games this year, having elected to opt out of the NBA’s restart down in orlando.

Despite not playing in a game since March, Bradley must feel confident about his chances on the open market, as he reportedly declined a $5 million player option to remain with the Lakers next season.

However, with the team making moves for guards Dennis Schroder and Wesley Matthews in the past week, Bradley could be looking for a more prominent opportunity. If so, the Bucks make sense as a potential destination. The Bucks have already been reported as a potential suitor for Avery Bradley, and it is clear to justify.

Considering his defensive prowess and 3-point shooting capabilities, Bradley may be on the monitor as the Bucks continue to sort out their backcourt at the moment.
