A trade to help the Milwaukee Bucks land Mo Bamba

While Lopez would be an enticing trade target for the Bucks, he might not be the best center on that Magic roster that they could trade for. This deal between the Bucks and Magic was proposed by Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley in his latest piece, and it revolves around sending Mo Bamba to Milwaukee.

Bamba would be a perfect fit for the Bucks. The big man is having a career year by averaging new career-highs in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks per game. His defense would help the Bucks tremendously, giving the team a fantastic rim protector to fill in while Lopez recovers. The big man is currently second in the NBA in total blocked shots with 60, and the Bucks would be wise to get a player like that to bulk up their defense if he is indeed available.

The interesting variable here is DiVincenzo, who has yet to make his season debut for the Bucks after an ankle procedure in June. Although he has flashed potential throughout his first three NBA seasons, it is worth asking whether or not the Magic would want him, given the ample amount of talent currently stacked up in their backcourt. If they are willing to bring him in, this deal makes all the sense in the world for the Bucks, given the uncertainty they face at the center position.
