Post-Game Grades: Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

The Milwaukee Bucks fell short to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday Night, 106-00.  Here’s a look at Behind the Buck Pass’ Post-Game Grades.

D. The Greak Freak’s first start at point guard didn’t go as well as hoped. It wasn’t that he looked uncomfortable, it was more that he looked inexperienced. The point of playing Antetokounmpo at point guard is so he can have the ball in his hands more often to make things happen. He didn’t Tuesday night. Once he dished the ball off, it seemed like the offense died where the basketball went. He only got to the line twice.<p class=. PG/SF. 23 MIN | 4 PTS | 0-5 FG | 4-4 FT | 0 AST | 4 REB | -5|. GIANNIS ANTEOKOUNMPO

B. Middleton disappeared at points against the Cavs and really seemed to lack chemistry with Giannis Antetokounmpo. Maybe it’s that we’ve come to expect so much from the hot shooting Middleton, but he just didn’t have a presence tonight. His shot wasn’t there but he battled through it.  . SG. 26 MIN | 10 PTS | 4-11 FG | 2-2 FT |3 AST | 1 STL | -16 |. KHRIS MIDDLETON

B+. There is still a lot for Parker to work on, but for the fourth straight time he flashed something special. Tonight it was getting to the glass off the baseline in isolation. One advantage he’ll have when playing small forward is posting up on his defender. He made Shawn Marion, one of the better defenders in the league, look foolish in the first quarter.. SF. 28 MIN | 18 PTS | 7-12 FG | 4-5 FT | 2 TO | 3 REB | -18|. JABARI PARKER

PF. 27 MIN | 10 PTS | 4-10 FG | 1-2 FT | 9 REB | 2 OREB | 3|. ERSAN ILYASOVA. B-. It wasn’t pretty inside at all. In fact, he got swatted again in the paint on a gimme layup. But Ilyasova started to find his long range jump shot again. When he has that stroke going from the wing, it’s a thing of beauty. As much as he’s played, it looks like he might have a chance to start at the beginning of the season. I’m not saying he’s anywhere near the player of old, but there might be hope he can get there. Or at least be serviceable….

C. Okay, so Zaza might have muffed up a fast break. He might not have made the best decisions. But man, he can be fun to watch sometimes because of how unafraid he is of chucking up shots. Did you see him throw that one up in the 3rd quarter? The Bucks missed having Larry Sanders, but at least Zaza can still be a serviceable role player.. C. 24 MIN | 12 PTS | 4-9 FG | 4-4 FT | 5 REB | 3 AST | 2. ZAZA PACHULIA

A+. Playmakers make plays and shooters nail open jumpers. Dudley got hot in the first quarter and nailed three straight treys. After finding his rhythm late in the 1st, Dudley nailed two more in the third quarter. Three of his five shots came from the right side corner. Dudley also hit one from the right side wing and one from the top of the circle. Dudley’s role in this offense will be to hit open shots. He did just that tonight.. SG. 23 MIN | 15 PTS | 5-6 FG | 5-5 3P | 1 AST | 0 TO | 1 STL|. JARED DUDLEY

B. He looked good again with that left hand inside, but he again struggled to protect the basketball. He has spurts where he is good with it and other times where he is not. He had some open looks though and nailed them with the jump hook. In a perfect world, I’d love to see Henson first off the bench or starting in “Big” lineups. Not sure it’s going to happen though.. F. 24 MIN | 13 PTS | 6-8 FG | 1-2 FT | 4 TO | 6 REB | -8|. JOHN HENSON

JERRYD BAYLESS. A-. I buy into the fact that people always underestimate what Jerryd Bayless can do in the right role for a team. He might of had 4 turnovers, but he is so quick with the basketball, that he’s hard to guard. I love his defensive principles as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jason Kidd goes to Bayless in defensive situations. That’s why he was so valuable in Memphis.. PG. 25 MIN | 1 PT | 0-3 FG | 4 TO | 2 STL | 9 AST | 4

C-. It was good to see Wolters back on the floor for the Bucks, after missing two preseason games. What I took most from his game was how well he moved laterally on the defensive end when he was paired with Jerryd Bayless. I’d love to see Jason Kidd give Wolters a start just to see how he reacts to it. I think his future is more at off guard, but I’d love to see him get more game time with the starters to see.. PG. 20 MIN | 4 PTS | 2-7 FG | 0 TO | 2 STL | 3 AST | -4. NATE WOLTERS

The best thing you can say about O.J. Mayo is that he looked like he was in game shape and ready to accept the role that Jason Kidd gives him. How huge would it be if he could become some type of role model on the floor for the young guards on this team? Mayo moved the ball really well. Not only did he rotate the basketball in the far corner at the end of third to find Jared Dudley, Mayo also found John Henson three times in the first quarter. There is hope for O.J. after all.. SG. 20 MIN | 13 PTS | 5-8 FG | 2-2 FT | 3 REB | 5 AST | 12. O.J MAYO. B+
