Jason Kidd will lead coaches in technical fouls
A former player with something to prove. Plus, he has one of the youngest teams in the league. Jason Kidd is going to have nights where he feels like he has to defend his team to the referees in a way that his young superstars buy into him leading them through the future.
Remember, Kidd got the the hammer from officials during his first game as an NBA coach. He only received one technical during the regular season, but you have to think that he has the personality that could just lose it. Plus, isn’t it just fun to think about Jason Kidd getting fired up all the time?
If there is anything you can sell the basketball world on when it comes to Kidd, is that he is unorthodox. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took a more college or high school like approach when trying to protect his players.
C’mon, you don’t want to see LARRY SANDERS! fired up on the court, just to have his head coach run out on the court and give referees the business?
That’d be a lot of fun.
