Khris Middleton will have the best scoring stats of shooting guards in the Central Division

We talking about the likes of Rodney Stuckey, Dion Waiters, Jodie Meeks/Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Jimmy Butler here. It’s going to be a tall task for Middleton, but there are going to be a lot of nights where he is the third or fourth up on the opposing team’s scouting report.  Everyone is high on Butler and Stuckey is going to be the only offensive options some nights for Indianapolis.

Yet I still think that Middleton’s shooting numbers will be right up there with those guys. He might not score as many points per game, but he is going to find ways to make long distance buckets as well as mid-range shots. The only player that might have a better touch than Middleton is Jodie Meeks.

I have a feeling though that he is going to be battling injury all season. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is a great defender and driver to the basket. It’s still unseen on whether he can consistently nail a jumper.

I might be too high on Khris Middleton, but I firmly believe that in this offense — he can get enough touches to be the best shooter in the division.
