Hey, at least there is something to be excited about this year. Nerlens Noel makes his debut, Michael Carter-Williams enters his second year looking to prove his rookie year wasn’t a fluke. Joel Embiid also brings spark… on twitter… until he gets fully healthy near the end of the year. There is no doubt that this year is all about the tank.
And it will show on the court. This is a team that could start K.J. McDaniels. Casper Ware, as exciting as he can be, will see a good amount of minutes on the floor.

Maybe this time, the 76ers can land the first overall pick in the draft at the end of the season.

Probably not. The Cavs will find someway to land to first pick overall even if they make it to the NBA Finals.

It will be interesting to see if Nerlens Noel can be more than a shot blocker and rebounder in this league. The question I’ll find myself asking all year long if Noel flashes star power is, “What if the Pelicans kept him and teamed him up with Anthony Davis. ”

They say the what-ifs will kill you.
. .
