Reactions: The Good

  • In order to be a serious playoff team the Bucks need to play better at home. After Thursday’s collapse against the Jazz the Bucks touted a 1-4 record at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in January–each loss coming by six points or less. But the Bucks made sure they sent the crowd home happy Saturday, giving the Pistons no hope of getting back in the game.
  • The Bucks continue to play unselfish basketball. Collectively the team made 41 FGs on 33 assists–roughly 80%. When the Bucks pass well, they play well and they passed very well tonight, highlighted by the first play of the fourth quarter which saw Buck’s wings pass on open three pointers, working the ball around the horn before finding Giannis on the low block who passed to the wide open John Henson for an easy layup. That’s how it’s done, boys.
  • The Bucks rank in the bottom third of the league (20th) in three pointers made with 7.0 per game. In wins the Bucks rank 14th in the league with 8.0 per game, while ranking 25th in losses with 5.9 per game. When winning the Bucks shoot the three well, when losing they don’t. Simple. Saturday night the Bucks were 11-17 from downtown, good for roughly 65%. That’s straight torching it, fellas.
