Isaiah Thomas
Although the spelling is slightly different, with a name like that expectations were always going to be high for Isaiah Thomas.
Considering that hefty burden, Thomas hasn’t done too badly for himself either. As the 60th overall pick of the 2011 Draft, Thomas initially had his work cut out for him just to stay in the NBA. Having been consistently impressive during his time with the Sacramento Kings, Thomas is now a part of the Phoenix Suns terrifying backcourt alongside Goran Dragic and Eric Bledsoe.
So far this season, Thomas is averaging 15.2 points, 3.7 assists and 2.4 rebounds in 25.7 minutes per game. He’s got just the right mixture of speed and finesse to emerge as a real contender in this setting too.
