Jeff Teague
Teague is the first of the players that we’ve mentioned so far on this list that’s also going to be appearing in this weekend’s main event, tomorrow’s All-Star Game. It’s no less than he’s probably deserved either, as Teague has spearheaded the Eastern Conference leading Atlanta Hawks exceptional start to the season.
Coming out of Wake Forest, Teague was more of a project point guard. Now, having grown into a guy who consistently ranks among the top ten point guards in scoring and assists, Teague has elevated his game to entirely new heights.
Teague has the perfect combination of explosive speed, tricky dribbling, and a soft shooting touch to have a big impact on this year’s contest. He also has the advantage of having tried his hand at the Skills Challenge before, and although he failed miserably, the experience could stand him in good stead.
This season Teague is averaging 17 points, 7.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 31.4 minutes per game.
