Adam: It feels like the Denver Nuggets effectively threw in the towel yesterday with their decisions to trade away much of their remaining talent. How does it feel looking back on Denver’s last few years?

S.E: Being a Nuggets fan has never been “easy,” but this is certainly one of the tougher years in recent memory. You have to remember that as little as a couple of years ago, the Nuggets were a team that consistently made the playoffs, and did so with many of the same pieces that were on this current roster.

Nuggets fans went into this season with semi-realistic expectations that the team would be in the hunt for the Western Conference playoffs, so the fact that the team has failed so miserably is a tough pill to swallow. When it became apparent that management was basically throwing in the towel on the season, I think a lot of Nuggets fans vented their frustrations publicly on social media, and rightly so.

The front office touted this as a season where the team would compete, and they’ve done anything but so far.
