Giannis Antetokounmpo played his strongest game since the All-Star break. His 19 points were the most since February 6th at Houston where he scored a career-high 27 points. He shot 3-4 from outside against the Nuggets, including a late three pointer that brought the Bucks to within six, 95-89 with 3:51 remaining. It was his first three pointer since January 4th against the Knicks. He showed strong low-post moves using his unimaginable length to simply flip the ball past defenders. The “Greek Freek” turned it over five times, yes, but was able to erase three Nuggets attempts including this chase-down beauty.

  • The bench was responsible for getting the Bucks back into the game midway through the first quarter. Down 22-14 with 4:48 left in the period, the Bucks went on a lightning-fast 6-0 run on a John Henson three point play and a Tyler Ennis three pointer. Another low-post Henson score and a Jerryd Bayless three pointer later the Bucks were suddenly leading 25-23.
