Contract Next Season: $4,236,287 (rookie deal)
Damian Lillard entered the NBA as big an underdog as is possible for a top-ten pick, coming out of the unheralded Weber State, but it didn’t take him long to prove himself.
The 2013 Rookie of the Year has shown himself to have a real taste for the big time, becoming a driving force on a top class Western Conference team, and showing an insatiable desire for making clutch shots.
Lillard is a creator, a finisher and a guy who’s going to earn a monstrous contract once his rookie deal expires. On top of his tenth spot in real plus-minus, Lillard also ranks fifth in the related wins attributable stat WAR.
