4. Figure out the point guard situation

Right now the Bucks have three point guards on their roster: Michael Carter-Williams, Tyler Ennis and Jerryd Bayless. Bayless is someone who may or may not stick around but is certainly not going to be Milwaukee’s starting point guard anytime soon; he’s a valuable role player to bring off of the bench, nothing more nothing less.

That leaves the Bucks with two young PGs, Ennis and Carter-Williams. Neither of which have played exceptionally well this season. But they’re young. MCW is in his second season and Ennis is still just a rookie. Basically I (and everybody else following Bucks basketball) just doesn’t know what’s going to happen here yet.

I do know a lot will be decided by who the Bucks pursue (and possibly don’t pursue) during the offseason. If no more point guards come to town, one of those two will be expected to become the Bucks’ leader on the floor this season. As to which one, I honestly have no idea. Both have potential but neither has realized much of it yet.

Hopefully one full off-season with Jason Kidd helps at least one of them to figure things out, or neither might end up as Milwaukee’s starting point guard.
