Greg Monroe – Center
Hear me out on this one; although he may have played there for his last two years with the Detroit Pistons, Greg Monroe would not start at power forward for Milwaukee. He would slide back to the center position, where he recorded his best-ever offensive rating, defensive rating and Player Efficiency Rating over various seasons.
Monroe is only 24 years old (he’d be a Young Buck!), already has a great nickname (can’t you hear the BMO screaming MOOSEEEEE already?), and on top of it all he’s really good. The Bucks will have to pry him away from the Knicks and other suitors, but he’d definitely be worth it.

If Moose had been a Buck for this season he would’ve led the team in win shares, win shares per 48 minutes, value above replacement player, total rebound percentage, and player efficiency rating. That’s a lot of categories for one player. I’m not sure why there isn’t more buzz about where Monroe might end up, but if he comes to Milwaukee expect a beefed up team for next season.
