Bobby Portis

At this stage it’s starting to feel like Bobby Portis is the consensus pick among Bucks fans, and it’s easy to understand why.

Portis is a 6’11” power forward out of the University of Arkansas, with a skill set that could make him one of the more dynamic big men the NBA has seen in recent years.

Portis is a high energy guy with a motor that goes forever, and he wills himself around the court from possession to possession setting up opportunities for his team to win.

The 20-year-old is an efficient scorer having averaged 17.5 per game last season on over 50 percent from the field and over 45 percent from deep. That ability to stretch the floor makes him particularly interesting as an offensive threat.

Portis is also a good rebounder, picking up 8.9 boards per game in his final year as a Razorback.

If he’s still on the board when the Bucks draft he’ll be many people’s choice.
