Rebounding
Morris is a strong rebounder who has posted improved averages with every season he’s been in the league, and still seems like he has plenty of room left to grow in that regard too.
Morris has a career average of 5.4 rebounds per game, and last season set a new career high by grabbing 6.2 boards a night with the Suns.
That’s a good tally for a young player who plays most of his time between the two forward spots, but perhaps even more appealing is the fact that with his height, there’s potential for him to improve even further on the glass.
Last year, in his best rebounding season Morris was still only grabbing 10.7 percent of the available rebounds when he was on the floor. When you consider the Bucks’ rebounding leader last season Zaza Pachulia controlled 16.5 percent of the available boards, and starting power forward and sub-par rebounder Ersan Ilyasova claimed another 12 percent, Morris could thrive with the right attitude in Milwaukee.
