2013 Opener: New York Knicks
This season was a disaster, and this game reflected that. The Bucks lost probably their best player at the time, Brandon Knight, less than three minutes into the game. This left Nate Wolters as the pseudo-starter, along with O.J. Mayo, Khris Middleton, Caron Butler and Larry Sanders.
This team was probably so bad because it featured a whopping 27 different starting lineups, with no one set of starters playing more than 14 games together. That lineup, consisting of Wolters, Knight, Middleton, Ersan Ilyasova and Zaza Pachulia went just 4-10.
Crazy the difference a bench, a rising star player and a much better coach than Larry Drew can make, considering four of those players started a lot of games for Milwaukee in their 2015 playoff run (as short as it was, maybe it was a playoff jog).
Anyway, as I said earlier this season was really bad for the Bucks. It ended with just 15 victories, which while very sad was also kind of good because it netted the team Jabari Parker. Gotta look for the silver lining, right?
