Will Playing At Home Help The Bucks Opening Night Fortunes?

2012 Opener: Boston Celtics

I’m not going to lie–I’ve got a soft spot in my heart for this team. This was really when I started to watch basketball, and I loved the Brandon Jennings/Monta Ellis backcourt. They fought, and won enough games to eek into the playoffs and get crushed by the Heat this season, including this very season opener–the Bucks only win in their first game of the season over the past five years.

That backcourt stayed intact–starting 80 games together that season–but the rest of the team did not. The most-utilized lineup would end up including Luc Mbah a Mouté and Larry Sanders in place of Tobias Harris and Samuel Dalembert, respectively.

This was the infamous Win In 6 season that made Brandon Jennings (in)famous and gave our podcast it’s name, plus they managed to win their home opener, so I like this Bucks team. Too bad they got so thrashed in just four games by LeBron James and the Heatles in the first round.
