Adam McGee: Although there wasn’t any real roster turnover this summer, this still feels like a new era of sorts for the Bulls. What are the expectations from the fans heading into the season?

Michael Whitlow: This summer has been one of the more interesting off-seasons for the Bulls that I can remember. Between Jimmy Butler’s contract situation, Tom Thibodeau being fired, the rumored Derrick Rose-Jimmy Butler beef, and now the allegations towards Rose, the news seemingly hasn’t stopped.

But, expectations are still the same for Bulls fans. The fan base is hungry for the first title since Michael Jordan’s departure, and with a healthy (emphasis on healthy) roster, this team can play deep into the playoffs. The Cleveland barricade will be there, but fans believe in this team.
