How Does Marques Feel About The Return?

Adam McGee: As someone who left his mark on the Milwaukee Bucks’ history as a player, and having achieved so much for the city back in the late 70s/early 80s, how does it feel to come back to be a part of the broadcast team after all these years?

Marques Johnson: There’s a lot of excitement for me to come back and be a part of this young, developing team. A realistic goal for the foreseeable future is a team that competes for one of the top five spots in the Conference.

This is where it all started professionally for me. A lot of nostalgia. With the recent passing of my college and Bucks teammate Dave Meyers, I think back to him picking me up from my Whitefish Bay apartment when the weather was too much for me to drive in, which usually meant a light snow!

Workouts and practices at U-School (University High). The budding young nucleus of talented and intelligent players. There have been so many coaches, management, and broadcasters from that crew. The camaraderie was amazing.
