- The Bucks committed too many silly fouls. There’s the aggressive, hip-check fouls that happen when chasing for loose balls; and then there’s what the Bucks did for much of Tuesday night. Things got really bad in the third quarter when the Cavaliers were in the bonus less than two minutes into the period. They got worse when the Bucks continued committing pointless fouls, sending the Cavs to the free throw line time and time again. The good guys were able to overcome those mistakes tonight; but in a regular season setting, with Cleveland running their big three, the Bucks would have likely lost.
- Michael Carter-Williams had a clunker. He shot 1-11 from the field and his two three pointers missed badly. Fortunately he’s a good enough player to not let a poor shooting night effect other components of his game (he had five boards/three assists/two steals/three blocks). That’s a very good all-around performance, but when you have more blocks than points from the PG spot, eyebrows are going to rise. I attribute his poor shooting performance to having to stare at Cleveland’s eye-sore yellow unis. And yes, I do have the right to mock another team’s threads–the Bucks have had a top-five uniform for all of three pre-season games…
